Settling in
So it’s been awhile since I’ve updated anything (thank you benjamin for reminding me), and I figure I finally have some down time to do so. It’s been a pretty hectic week it’s been filled with unpacking, buying things for the apartment, and meeting up with people. I freakin’ LOVE my new place! It’s spacious, I pretty much have my own master bedroom, everything has this brand new remodeled feel to it AND I have a pretty amazing room mate, err house mate =) We both have plenty of free time since neither of us has started school or work yet, so luckily we have each other’s company.
Settling in hasn’t been too difficult, thanks to the TV I got for my birthday and netflix (seriously, netflix rocks). The only thing that’s still taking some getting use to is the heat…damn this deceptive vegas heat. When you look outside, it appears to be freaking amazing; some clouds in the distance, with a nice breeze blowing the tree. However, once you step outside it’s a completely different story…the heat just slams into your body and immediately sticks to your skin. The only upside is that I’m slowly adjusting, we had a pretty nice feeling day and it turns out it was 90 something degrees…go figure…
Well, I’m going to bring my rant to an end now, hopefully I’ll be a little more active in updating everything. Hopefully I’ll be seeing more people in Vegas soon =)

Started the day off at venice beach and got BURNT! me and my friends then accompanied me to get my WHITE PS3! followed by a trip to the down town LA artwalk! Food trucks everywhereee. After filling up on delicious orders, we decide to go to the hollywood walk of fame where we get to see Howie from deal-or-no-deal in action filming for a show! all in all…a pretty sick night!
took my friends to the griffith observatory tonight and saw this AMAZING view. it’s funny that the at the same time I’m taking my friends, it will be my first time here too. I attempted to take another friend a couple months back, but that ended in a fail…unfortunately I wish I could be around to enjoy this view more often.
Looking at apartment pictures makes me crazy excited for this next step in my life. While at the same time I know it’s going to make me sad to leave so much behind, I know it’s a step that I need to take. No regrets.
